Miss you Maa!

My grandmother's life revolved around her family, whether it was shopping for her grandchildren, planning for their weddings, doing evening Bhajans with them. The family was her central locus of operation, from keeping tally of house expenses, daily pooja, visiting temples, traveling. 5 years ago she had a paralytic attack which left her left leg paralyzed, she was able to recover from it with her strong will power but it was never the same, a couple of months later she started showing symptoms of dementia and Parkinsons, her dinacharya and responsibilities took a toll though she never gave up doing Hanuman Chalisa and Sunder Kand every day. We still managed to go out at least once a month for a temple visit along with eating her favourite food Paani Puri outside. In 2019 we went for a small pilgrimage to Kanchipuram along with her and some of my relatives for darshan of Athi Varadaraja Swamy when he was raised from Amritha Saras which happens once in 40 years, unlike us she couldn...

Raam-Hanuman!

Nara Vyagraha Ekam Pati Vratam Maryada Purushottam  Raam and Buddhimatam Varishtam  Bajra Anga Bali! Though it is known that Sri Raam is an avatar and went through a life of suffering (at least as seen from external situations and drama around), he was called maryada Purushottam not in sense that Maryada = Morality, you can teach Morality to people, you cannot teach maryada,it rises from the deepest core of your being. How does one respond authentically in a situation of great turmoil, come out with the greatest of intelligence and stand up, holding the need of situation, holding the maryada of the situation with utmost care and love.  Whether it is breaking the Bow of Shiva, killing countless Asuras, leaving the throne and walking into the forest, witnessing his father die from a distance, witnessing his wife being kidnapped by Ravana, handling the turmoil of separation from Sita, The killing of Vali from behind, slaying great beings like Kumbhakarna, killing Ravana-The ...

A man walks on his path and towards his goals alone!

In the Game-Awareness, female biology naturally works with hypergamy, but in the game, I realized every woman goes through a phase of being with a Corey-Alpha, Bad-Ass Alpha, and then the Buddha-Alpha, and when she finds a Buddha-Alpha, she tries her best to bring in monogamy and try to bring you there too, making you feel as if that was the "operating point " always. Don't get deluded if not now or later you will always realize hypergamy is the Game always, it's just a matter of time when past history - patterns come up. It's also interesting to see that when you start getting an idea, sense of the karmic entanglement the woman got into while being with the Corey-Alpha, you thank God that you saved yourself from getting into another dirty bucket of water. As bad as it sounds, assume you had taken up all that shity karma physically. If by any chance you get there and recognize the reality, accept it, get out of it and move on. Don't stay there like a doormat...

Hanuman and Makardhwaja!

श्री गुरु चरण सरोज रज, निज मन मुकुर सुधार | बरनौ रघुवर बिमल जसु, जो दायक फल चारि | बुद्धिहीन तनु जानि के, सुमिरौ पवन कुमार | बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहि हरहुं कलेश विकार || Hanuman and his son Makardhwaja When Hanuman took a dip in the sea, to cool himself after burning Lanka; a drop of his sweat, due to the extreme heat generated in his body due to extreme labor by him, fell into the mouth of a giant fish-eat-reptile like creature(SuvanaMacha) , Makara, thus impregnating it. The fish was caught by people of Ahiravana, who ruled Patala, the nether-world. Markardhwaja was discovered when the stomach of the fish was cut open and thus he was named after it and was brought up by them. When he grew up, Ahiravana, seeing his strength and virility gave him job of guarding, the gates of his Kingdom. When Ahiravana took Rama and Lakshmana to Patala, Hanuman followed them to their rescue. He was challenged at the gate of Patala by a creature, who was part Vanara and part reptile - a Makara. He in...
