Raam-Hanuman!

Nara Vyagraha Ekam Pati Vratam Maryada Purushottam  Raam and Buddhimatam Varishtam  Bajra Anga Bali!

Though it is known that Sri Raam is an avatar and went through a life of suffering (at least as seen from external situations and drama around), he was called maryada Purushottam not in sense that Maryada = Morality, you can teach Morality to people, you cannot teach maryada,it rises from the deepest core of your being.
How does one respond authentically in a situation of great turmoil, come out with the greatest of intelligence and stand up, holding the need of situation, holding the maryada of the situation with utmost care and love.
Whether it is breaking the Bow of Shiva, killing countless Asuras, leaving the throne and walking into the forest, witnessing his father die from a distance, witnessing his wife being kidnapped by Ravana, handling the turmoil of separation from Sita, The killing of Vali from behind, slaying great beings like Kumbhakarna, killing Ravana-The greatest devotee of Shiva, abandoning Sita, not being there when his sons are born, giving death sentence to Lakshmana, how can one even imagine how he held the Maryada of each situation with such huge external turmoil and conflict and rise above and say no, "This is not optimum, I am going to not give into the pressure no matter what, This is what the situation needs, I am going to follow what I feel is the need" and when it comes to establishing Raam Rajya and performing Ashwamedha, he comes across a situation where he is about to kill his own sons, his own progeny and Hanuman who has never stepped in the decision of Raam says " Bhagwaan,no, this is not optimum, please wait, re consider your choice, The maryada of the situation is not being met" and Raam reconsiders it and decides okay, now is the time to leave, The limitations of the body and what is happening around, I have to leave.
That someone had to come in, in the last moment and tell Maryada Purushottam Raam to reconsider, oh what a privilege it must be to witness this great moment, and both Raam and Hanuman having the humility and respect for each other's words and actions, The Bhakta and the Bhagavan being at ease at as situation of such great and immense conflict. How lucky would Luv-Kush be,to witness this love between Raam and Hanuman, between the Bhakta and the Bhagwaan, it can only bring me to silence to even comprehend what it might it be like!
And then just contemplating the Ease with which Hanuman handled every situation, Lanka Dhan, killing countless Asura, getting Sanjeevni booti, Rescuing Raam and Lakshman, Telling Ravana you are full moon and Raam is New moon, helping vibhsheshana, hanuman held the maryada of each situation with such an ease, with such inner poise, Of course when he was a child he didn't have the necessary understanding and discipline he was about to swallow the sun in childhood and hence was cursed to lose all the conscious memory of the Vidya until he is capable enough to use it optimally.  and then when he recognises his own strength, his wisdom, his mastery over the situation, his perfection in action, his ability to bring in Harmony in the most dis-harmonious situation.
It doesn't matter he gives the mantle to Sri Raam, he doesn't want a label or wants to stand on the stage, he sits near the feet of his master, he surrenders to Sri Ram, Maryada Purushottam is always his Swami, not me, not me, not me, only the Divine, only the Divine!
Yet there's a gap again, it was Sri Ram who helped Hanuman to hold the maryada of situation when Hanuman had tied up Makaradhwaja in Patala Loka and this time it was just Hanuman reminding Raam of the decision which Raam knew already, Raam knew what has to be done, he seemed to forgotten it for a moment, unlike Hanuman he didn't even know Luv-Kush were his sons, yet he knows that establishing Raam - Rajya is more important and he was willing to kill 2 children born from him in order to establish Raam Rajya. Hanuman just reminds, Swami you are right but maybe the world is not ready for it , it still needs time, you should drop it now, some other time, let us wait , Raam knew it, maybe it was just to balance out the 2 great beings, the love they had for each other, again love is a label, how does one put it in words?
The balance which you cannot understand from mental dissection , from words, only if you can experience it in the deeper part of the being in silence of the heart. Hanuman has it always he tears up his chest and says look the Divine is established in my being, राम लक्ष्मण जानकी , He says look not to show it to the world to brag, but to simply be there and say as living presence, reality that it is possible, he has achieved it, so can you.

Hold it, hold the ideal a thousand times and if you fail a thousand times, make the attempt once more.

If not this lifetime a hundred lifetimes how does it matter as long as you know it is the will of the Divine!
But never to step back from your personal effort, ego is there, so personal effort is there and it is needed always.
Don't miss the avasaram.
Don't miss it, it is Jai Sri Rama, Sri is Sita the Divine feminine, Rama the Divine Masculine.
जय श्री राम।

Raam Doota Hanuman, The carrier of the message of the Divine, The willing servitor of the Divine Consciousness, The wiling servitor of the Divine Nature!

दुनिया चले ना श्री राम के बिना।
राम जी चले ना हनुमान के बिना।

I bow down to the eternal being-चिरंजीव
बजरंग बलि
If I ever would be able to back my रृण to him!

सिया वर रामचंद्र की जय।
पवन पुत्र हनुमान की जय।

Miss you Maa!

My grandmother's life revolved around her family, whether it was shopping for her grandchildren, planning for their weddings, doing evening Bhajans with them. The family was her central locus of operation, from keeping tally of house expenses, daily pooja, visiting temples, traveling. 5 years ago she had a paralytic attack which left her left leg paralyzed, she was able to recover from it with her strong will power but it was never the same, a couple of months later she started showing symptoms of dementia and Parkinsons, her dinacharya and responsibilities took a toll though she never gave up doing Hanuman Chalisa and Sunder Kand every day. We still managed to go out at least once a month for a temple visit along with eating her favourite food Paani Puri outside. In 2019 we went for a small pilgrimage to Kanchipuram along with her and some of my relatives for darshan of Athi Varadaraja Swamy when he was raised from Amritha Saras which happens once in 40 years, unlike us she couldn...

Sabarimala,Women and Menstruation!

All right, so this issue of women of menstruating age, aren't allowed to enter the Sabiramala Temple, and the recent judgement which comes as a relief to the previous blunder of defying the practice. When movies like Padman, Toilet are released worldwide, it gives us an idea of what the general mentality of people is, with respect to hygiene and menstruation , in modern day India. Though it is sad to look at , what's even more depressing is the take on the situation prevelant, trying to potray it as a culture which considers menstruation as something impure, women a class lower to men. It is indeed disappointing to see all the cultural failures, when people fail to recognise that the Kamkhya Temple,Assam where the devi here is worshipped in the form a Yoni. They celebrate the Ambubachi Mela, a festival marking thedevi going through her annual mensuration cycle. A culture where menarche is celebrated in many places across India as Ritu Kala Samskara, whe...

Where is this thing called peace?!

Namaste everyone, this being my first post on my blog,I would like to share something on peace. Everyone in this world are  looking directly or indirectly for peace, not ultimately but yes.Everyone in this world deserves to be peaceful, yet it is not so?Have we ever thought why?Let me be clear that when we talk about peace it is not siting quietly in meditation, it is the state of being stress free, whether while working or eating or whatever work it is! So let us get back to the question, what is stopping us from being peaceful?  From not finding car keys, to exams, to day to day work, to rocket science, there is something which is not letting us be peaceful? So what is this  something, it is our own attitude towards Peace! NO Peace and KNOW Peace, both sound the same, both may look to be different, but are they really different? Just knowing about Peace is the same as NOT knowing about peace, only if we are able to live by so, only then KNOWING and NOT KNOWING about Peace ...

Sexuality and The Divine!

It is the sad reality of modern India, that we have become subservient to Western/ Victorian Morality, we are slowly turning into such sick hypocrites that it is difficult to even start a conversation, in these lines. So, if a thirteen-year-old boy/girl who has just hit puberty, getting into their teens and they go to watch a movie with an intimate sex scene playing right out there, what to do you expect? You expect the boy/girl not go get aroused, not to think in those terms, just watch it like it is a passing scene, act like they are 40-year-old grown-ups? It is not very simple as it sounds, what is it that is the repercussion, consequence of it? Either you accept the western way, accept that intimacy in teenage is quite common, and it's all right to choose that path, or are you looking at it from a point of view that it's not the right age, and maybe hence not morally just, to choose it. But herein lies the problem, you don't have the guts to debate either of th...

Free of Cost?!

I was at my office and a lady walked in,  started her story of how she came to Bangalore with her children and husband and, how she is staying at the railway station, and needed some money. She trying to play the emotional victim, threw at me a list of people who have given her 100,200 rs each. I just asked her one question, what have you done in the last 4 days to find a place/job to work? She tried to reinstate her community card and I was adamant at the question. All the drama stopped, she took her piece of paper and walked out with sense of anger. I continued to do my work. You drive to a signal and there's a man dressed in a saree trying to molest you and take some money. Alright in Sanskrit I learnt Puling (male), striling (female) and napunsakling, it is very clear that our ancestors knew that its alright, there was no need to negate or promote it. But now, for what it seems(at least 80% of the cases) is that, it's a very easy way to earn money and moreover on what ba...
