MK Gandhi- Personification of Bharat's Failure!

So, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, had written his autobiography" My Experiments with Truth". I am writing a short summary on the same, would prefer to name it "My tryst with Incompetency". Any Secular Liberal with preconceived notions , can skip the next parts and jump to the end of this article.

Victorian Morality -Depicts that he had no idea of the notion of Brahmacharya or Kama, from a Hindu point of view.
His first shocker in life, was when he instead of attending to his father was having sex with his wife, and coincidentally he passed away the same night. The guilt which built upon him found him to be influenced more from his interactions in SA with christian morality/sin etc[1]. In 1906 he took a vow of brahmacharya and it doesn't stop there, he would ask newly married couples to take the vow of abstaining from sex.He went to the extent, that he ordered his supporters to chip off the sculptures from Khajuraho Temple( today a world UNESCO heritage site), which is inspired by the writings of the KamaSutra. Thanks to Rabindranath Tagore , who prevented the disaster from taking place.
The [1] article talks in detail about his take on sex, which seems very hypocritical, anyways I am not elaborating on it and anyone interested can read it, the link is mentioned in the end.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - Half a truth is a Whole Lie!
The phrase means the World is one family, but to just quote it without the context in which it was first mentioned is a crime. This phrase is mentioned in Hitopdesha Chapter 1 titled Mitrah-Labah(Gaining of friends), wherein  a crow named SuBuddi , his trying to warn his friend, a deer named chiranga from a Jackal named KsudraBuddhi. The gist of the story is the jackal(predator) says the two words in order to entice the deer(prey), the deer falls for the trap, but is saved by his friend, Subuddhi the Crow.[2] What did this cost us? Indian Soldiers were sent by the insistence of MK Gandhi to the World Wars, for helping our Colonisers(British) fight their enemies, hoping that they will reciprocate. But what happens, Winston Churchil, diverts food supplies for Bengal in 1943 which kills 3 million people out of starvation.
Great Reciprocation.

Satyagraha aka Foolishnes - Quote Unquote Mahatma Gandhi ‘A Satyagrahi bids goodbye to fear. He is therefore never afraid of trusting the opponent. Even if the opponent plays him false twenty times, the Satyagrahi is ready to trust him for the 21st time – for an implicit trust in human nature is the very essence of his creed'. The Somanth temple was destroyed ,looted and reconstructed 17 times[3]. The latest construction was done after independence under the then Home Minister Sardar Vallabbhai Patel.
Yet we will not learn anything from history, the Hindi proverb "Aa Bail mujhe maar" is apt to describe this.

Ahimsa Parmo DharmaIn the garb of non-violence , was hidden the incompetency to defend our land.

Only the sanyasi , has take the vow of Ahimsa, to the extent that even if means death he will not even defend himself. Yet if you are living in society and if a person is coming to kill you, can you throw upon him the idea of non-violence. does it not make sense that you should learn to defend yourself, even if it means through violence? Let alone defending our culture and practices, here it meant basic survival.

Secularism- All Religions are the Same(ARSE)
Not mentioning the religion, which is a very obvious guess, for if I do so, Secularism will be in Danger?
Anyways, its not my words, Quote Unquote MK Gandhi " Hindus should not harbour anger in their heart against ------- even if the latter wanted to destroy them. Even if the ------- want to kill us all we should face death bravely. If they established their rule after killing Hindus we would be ushering in a new world(In a world of fantasy and self delusion) by sacrificing our lives. None should fear death. Birth and Death are inevitable for every human being. Why should we then rejoice or grieve? If we die with a smile we shall enter into a new life, we shall be ushering in a new India"
Incompetency to stand for dharma, shall give you a good Secular name, yet Dhimmitude will never go away. The Secular topic needs more exploration and elaboration ,for some other time.

Hypocrisy- Osho had this wonderful analogy where he said  " If you point a gun towards someone and say, do this or I will kill you is 'violence' and if you say that I will not eat and eventually kill myself if you don't do what I say , is 'non-violence'?
In  August 1906 the Transvaal Government Gazette published a draft of a new law which made it compulsory for all Indian males above the age of eight to be registered and have their fingerprints taken and recorded.Gandhi said the law would spell ‘absolute ruin for the Indians of South Africa”¦ Better to die than submit to such a law’. After spending some time in Jail he came to an agreement to accept the act and on January 30 1908, he was set free from Jail.H Mira Alam who was one of his clients and his staunch supporter, had warned that he would trash any Indian who would sign the document.
Mir Alam:"It's all right but now I take an oath that I will kill the person whoever goes to seek the permission."
Gandhiji said, "I would happily die at the hands of a friend but in no case I would leave the path of truth".  Mir Alam along with his friends administered a horrible beating to the evolved being for the open display of hypocrisy.
This can also be seen when later in India, when he withdrew the  Non- Cooperation Movement,  after the Chauri Chaura Incident.
In an interview in 1938, he clearly refused the Jallianwala Bagh Congress Working Comittee to prosecute General Dyer, for those who of you who don't know. General Dyer on the eve of Baisakhi, without any warning , open fired at a peaceful gathering, which killed almost 1500 people. He was in the comfort of protection, but it were the general public who were facing the bullets, who sacrificed their lives.
So Ahimsa,Vasudhaiva Vutumbakam are tools used by MK Gandhi in favour of the Britshers to use their arms,a sedative for us to be killed, and a convenient sermon to protect them from prosecution on the grounds of humanity?

Me and my way- When you feel you are the only right person out there, and that my decision is the best and Final.

Bose was democratically elected as the President of INC in 1938, but it was Gandhi's ahimsavadi values, and Nehru's lust for power(need to write post on Chacha Nehru), which made him  resign as INC's president in 1939.(and we need to learn from Gandhi and Nehru the lessons on democracy and tolerance?)

In 1934, Gandhi had requested a meeting with Sri Aurobindo(The world including most Indians are yet to discover the magnitude of this being!)
Sri Aurobindo refused to meet the Evolved Being in any circumstance, and the mother didn't feel it is worth to reply back to him[4].
Quote-Sri Aurobindo"  If I have read his last letter to Govindbhai aright, his request was dictated by curiosity rather than anything else. If anybody expected him to come here seeking for Truth, it was absurd—he has his own fixed way of seeing things and is not likely to change it".

Osho Rajneesh on MKG -"I may not agree with his truth, but I cannot say that he was not truthful. Whatsoever was truth to him, he was full of it.
It is a totally different matter that I don't think his truth to be of any worth, but that is my problem, not his. He never lied. I respect his truthfulness, although he knows nothing of the truth"

BR Ambedkar's words " I insist that if I hate Mr Gandhi and Mr Jinnah – I dislike them, I do not hate them – it is because I love India more. That is the true faith of a nationalist. I have hopes that my countrymen will some day learn that the country is greater than the men, that the worship of Mr Gandhi or Mr Jinnah and service to India are two very different things and may even be contradictory of each other.”

I don't agree to the point that a politician should be the Father of our Nation, but if it is so, it should have been Dr. B R Ambedkar.

To sum up MK Gandhi, you need to admire, appreciate his 3 monkeys, Don't see anything bad, don't say anything bad, don't hear anything bad. Lets live in the world of delusion, incompetency, foolishness, hypocrisy, ahimsa and moreover Secularism.

P.S. Most of the content of the article is available online, some sources have been the Facebook Page of UpWord and Sriguru Rohit Arya.

There's also a very intersting article(long read) titled " Dismantling Sainthood: Ambedkar on Gandhi" by Anand Ranganathan:- https://swarajyamag.com/ideas/dismantling-sainthood-ambedkar-on-gandhi

The distortion of his true nature and his image of Mahatma worldwide is just amusing, hopefully his 150th birthday celebrations would be the last nail in the coffin, which should have been buried a long time back.

Miss you Maa!

My grandmother's life revolved around her family, whether it was shopping for her grandchildren, planning for their weddings, doing evening Bhajans with them. The family was her central locus of operation, from keeping tally of house expenses, daily pooja, visiting temples, traveling. 5 years ago she had a paralytic attack which left her left leg paralyzed, she was able to recover from it with her strong will power but it was never the same, a couple of months later she started showing symptoms of dementia and Parkinsons, her dinacharya and responsibilities took a toll though she never gave up doing Hanuman Chalisa and Sunder Kand every day. We still managed to go out at least once a month for a temple visit along with eating her favourite food Paani Puri outside. In 2019 we went for a small pilgrimage to Kanchipuram along with her and some of my relatives for darshan of Athi Varadaraja Swamy when he was raised from Amritha Saras which happens once in 40 years, unlike us she couldn...

Sabarimala,Women and Menstruation!

All right, so this issue of women of menstruating age, aren't allowed to enter the Sabiramala Temple, and the recent judgement which comes as a relief to the previous blunder of defying the practice. When movies like Padman, Toilet are released worldwide, it gives us an idea of what the general mentality of people is, with respect to hygiene and menstruation , in modern day India. Though it is sad to look at , what's even more depressing is the take on the situation prevelant, trying to potray it as a culture which considers menstruation as something impure, women a class lower to men. It is indeed disappointing to see all the cultural failures, when people fail to recognise that the Kamkhya Temple,Assam where the devi here is worshipped in the form a Yoni. They celebrate the Ambubachi Mela, a festival marking thedevi going through her annual mensuration cycle. A culture where menarche is celebrated in many places across India as Ritu Kala Samskara, whe...

Where is this thing called peace?!

Namaste everyone, this being my first post on my blog,I would like to share something on peace. Everyone in this world are  looking directly or indirectly for peace, not ultimately but yes.Everyone in this world deserves to be peaceful, yet it is not so?Have we ever thought why?Let me be clear that when we talk about peace it is not siting quietly in meditation, it is the state of being stress free, whether while working or eating or whatever work it is! So let us get back to the question, what is stopping us from being peaceful?  From not finding car keys, to exams, to day to day work, to rocket science, there is something which is not letting us be peaceful? So what is this  something, it is our own attitude towards Peace! NO Peace and KNOW Peace, both sound the same, both may look to be different, but are they really different? Just knowing about Peace is the same as NOT knowing about peace, only if we are able to live by so, only then KNOWING and NOT KNOWING about Peace ...

Sexuality and The Divine!

It is the sad reality of modern India, that we have become subservient to Western/ Victorian Morality, we are slowly turning into such sick hypocrites that it is difficult to even start a conversation, in these lines. So, if a thirteen-year-old boy/girl who has just hit puberty, getting into their teens and they go to watch a movie with an intimate sex scene playing right out there, what to do you expect? You expect the boy/girl not go get aroused, not to think in those terms, just watch it like it is a passing scene, act like they are 40-year-old grown-ups? It is not very simple as it sounds, what is it that is the repercussion, consequence of it? Either you accept the western way, accept that intimacy in teenage is quite common, and it's all right to choose that path, or are you looking at it from a point of view that it's not the right age, and maybe hence not morally just, to choose it. But herein lies the problem, you don't have the guts to debate either of th...

Free of Cost?!

I was at my office and a lady walked in,  started her story of how she came to Bangalore with her children and husband and, how she is staying at the railway station, and needed some money. She trying to play the emotional victim, threw at me a list of people who have given her 100,200 rs each. I just asked her one question, what have you done in the last 4 days to find a place/job to work? She tried to reinstate her community card and I was adamant at the question. All the drama stopped, she took her piece of paper and walked out with sense of anger. I continued to do my work. You drive to a signal and there's a man dressed in a saree trying to molest you and take some money. Alright in Sanskrit I learnt Puling (male), striling (female) and napunsakling, it is very clear that our ancestors knew that its alright, there was no need to negate or promote it. But now, for what it seems(at least 80% of the cases) is that, it's a very easy way to earn money and moreover on what ba...
